Take a small handful of ground beef and press it directly onto one half of each tortilla, ensuring to season well with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Place the tortilla beef-side down onto the skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes until the beef is browned.
Carefully flip the tortilla, sprinkle the cooked side with cheese, and then fold it in half.
Grill both sides for a couple of minutes until the tortillas are golden and crispy, and the cheese has melted.
Cut into wedges and serve warm, accompanied by your favorite burger toppings or dipping sauce.
