A comforting, cheesy, one-pan meal that combines the flavors of a classic cheeseburger with hearty pasta. Quick, easy, and perfect for busy weeknights!
1️⃣ Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the macaroni noodles until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2️⃣ Sauté onions: While the pasta cooks, heat a large skillet (12″+) over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and sauté diced onion until softened.
3️⃣ Brown the beef: Add ground sirloin, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, Montreal steak seasoning, and garlic. Break apart the meat and cook until no longer pink.
4️⃣ Mix in flavors: Stir in ketchup, mustard, diced tomatoes, and 1½ cups of shredded cheese until well combined.
5️⃣ Combine with pasta: Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and stir to coat evenly.
6️⃣ Melt the cheese: Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of cheese over the top, cover with a lid, and turn heat to low. Once the cheese melts, it’s ready to serve!
✔ Want it extra creamy? Stir in ½ cup heavy cream or cream cheese before adding the noodles.
✔ Make it spicy? Add ½ tsp cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce.
✔ Customize toppings: Serve with pickles, crispy bacon, or chopped green onions for a burger-inspired twist!
