Homemade Pizza Pockets – A Crispy & Freezer-Friendly Snack

These homemade pizza pockets are crispy on the outside, cheesy on the inside, and packed with gooey mozzarella, savory pepperoni, and marinara sauce—perfect for a quick snack or an easy family meal!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • ½ cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup sliced pepperoni (or your favorite toppings!)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat the Oven:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2️⃣ Prepare the Dough:

  • Divide the pizza dough into 6 equal portions.
  • Roll each piece into a small round circle (about 6 inches in diameter).

3️⃣ Assemble the Pizza Pockets:

  • On one half of each dough circle, spread 1 tablespoon marinara sauce, leaving a small border for sealing.
  • Top with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices (or any desired toppings!).
  • Fold the dough over the filling to form a half-moon shape.
  • Press the edges with a fork to seal.

4️⃣ Season & Bake:

  • Brush the tops of the pizza pockets with olive oil.
  • Sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  • Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.

  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Serve with extra marinara sauce for dipping!
