Crockpot Angel Chicken

  • Author: Mark's Recipe

Description

Crockpot Angel Chicken is a creamy, flavorful dish made with tender slow-cooked chicken in a rich, savory sauce. Served over delicate angel hair pasta, this easy meal is perfect for busy weeknights or comforting family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix
  • 1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed golden mushroom soup
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 pound angel hair pasta

Instructions

Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of a 6-quart crockpot.

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the Italian dressing mix, golden mushroom soup, chicken broth, and cream cheese. Cook, stirring frequently, until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken in the crockpot.

Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.

Cook the angel hair pasta according to the package instructions. Drain well.

Serve the slow-cooked chicken and creamy sauce over the cooked pasta.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, use a mix of golden mushroom and cream of chicken soup.
  • Shred the chicken before serving for a more evenly distributed sauce.
  • Add sautéed mushrooms or spinach for additional texture and flavor.
  • Garnish with freshly grated Parmesan or chopped parsley for an extra touch.
