Air Fryer Pizza Rolls

These crispy, cheesy air fryer pizza rolls are a quick and delicious snack or meal. Made with tortillas, pepperoni, and string cheese, they come together in just minutes and are perfect for dipping in marinara or ranch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 soft taco-size flour tortillas
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 (6-ounce) package of full-size sliced pepperoni (10 slices per pizza roll)
  • 8 string cheese, room temperature
  • 23 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

Spread one tablespoon of pizza sauce at the bottom of each flour tortilla, leaving a ¼-inch border around the edges. Lay 10 slices of pepperoni over the pizza sauce. Place one string cheese on top of the pepperoni.

Tightly roll up the tortilla, ensuring it stays secure. Lay the pizza roll seam-side down and repeat the process for the remaining tortillas.

Remove the basket from the air fryer and lightly spray it with nonstick cooking spray. Keep the basket out and preheat the air fryer to 375°F, which should take about three to four minutes.

Using a pastry brush, coat the tops of the pizza rolls with olive oil.

Place three to four pizza rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each roll. Cook for 9 to 10 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Serve warm with extra pizza sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Ensure the string cheese is at room temperature to prevent uneven melting.
  • Adjust the cooking time based on the size and wattage of your air fryer.
  • For a crispier texture, flip the pizza rolls halfway through cooking.
  • Add extra toppings like sautéed mushrooms, bell peppers, or cooked sausage inside for variation.
