2 Ingredient Air Fryer Donut

These 2 Ingredient Air Fryer Donuts are soft, fluffy, and incredibly easy to make with just self-rising flour and Greek yogurt. No yeast, no deep frying, and no long prep time—just quick, golden donuts with a tender interior and crisp edges. Perfect for a fast sweet treat or a fun weekend breakfast with minimal effort.

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup plain Greek yogurt

Instructions

In a medium bowl, combine the self-rising flour and Greek yogurt. Mix until a shaggy dough forms, then knead gently on a floured surface until smooth and slightly tacky, about 2 to 3 minutes.

Divide the dough into equal portions and roll each into a log shape. Connect the ends to form a donut ring, pinching gently to seal.

Preheat the air fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit for a few minutes. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil or line with parchment paper.

Place the donuts in the air fryer, leaving space between each. Air fry for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through, flipping halfway for even browning.

Let the donuts cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar, dipping in glaze, or brushing with melted butter and cinnamon sugar if desired.

Notes

Self-rising flour is essential for this recipe to achieve the right lift. If you don’t have it, combine 1 cup all-purpose flour with 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder and ¼ teaspoon salt as a substitute. The donuts are best enjoyed warm and fresh. You can customize with your favorite toppings or fillings, or even turn the dough into donut holes for a fun variation.
